Gizzada is also known as 'pinch-me-round'  and is a popular Jamaican pastry. The tart is contained in a small, crisp pastry shell with a pinched wavy crust and filled with a sweet and spiced coconut filling. This originated from Portugal, known there as 'guisada' and this was brought to Jamaica by Portuguese Jews in the late 1800's.
