Port of Spain, Trinidad, 1932.  A catastrophic fire. In its fiery wake hundreds of charred run-filled casks were found, that has ben ageing for 13 years in the Government Rum Bond.  Blending artistry resulted in a delightful golden rum of incomparable taste - 1919 Aged Rum - named after the year it was casked.  One of the most successful rums of the House of Angostura, this 'spirit of Trinidad' was proudly shipped to Trinidadian troops fighting far away from home on World War II.
